Raku Artist Lynn N. Jenkins
Lynn came into the world in 1960 in Maiami FL. Her family moved to the mountains of NC in 1969. She started potting in 1976 and clay has been a part of her life since that day. she graduated from Haywood Production Crafts in1980. She continues to study and learn different techniques. Her latest studies being on the San Ildefonso Pueblo in NM where she studied with two great granddaughters of the late Maria Martinez. Maria was famous for her black pottery. Lynn is currently creating her own style of black pottery, as well as horse hair pottery and traditional rake. Lynn continues to enjoy her life journey with clay and hopes you enjoy the energy she passes to you with her pottery.
